NIGHTSHELTER 2017/18 -We know that come the
winter our weather will be much wetter and
colder. Through Horsham Churches Together,
overseen by Horsham Matters, we will be
providing a Nightshelter for those without a roof
over their head. We are asking for volunteers for
the 3months and 2 weeks beginning on Friday
1st December ( St. John’s will be Monday
night/Tuesday morning each week) until the
middle of March 2018. I look forward to seeing
those who have volunteered in past years and
some new faces too! All volunteers must be 18
years or older. Please take a form from the back
of the church today and return it to the Parish
Office.

RISE THEATRE- O
n Sunday November 19th (2pm
to 5.30pm) the diocese is running a festival day
for young people aged 11-14 at Arundel
Cathedral. The day coincides with the first World
Day for the Poor, and will challenge us to think
about how we are living Christ's call to serve
those in need. The day will include Mass with
Bishop Richard, as well as drama from RISE
Theatre, and input from CAFOD and others.
Spaces are limited, so booking is
essential.
Contact Jack.Regan@dabnet.org for more
information, or to book. We are expecting those
attending to be part of organised groups. Young
people wanting to attend without accompanying
adults must contact Jack Regan for a consent
form.
